Army Public School Suratgarh is managed by a local managing committee headed by Patron and Chairman. The Principal manages the overall functioning of the school. Management meetings are organized on quarterly basis to ensure the progress of the school.
Army Public School, Suratgarh came into existence initially as a Regimental Nursery School named as “Desert Blossom School” in 1983. After receiving sanction from Army HQ on 03 Dec 1992, Desert Blossom School was converted to Army School on 02 Apr 1993. Since then, it has been known as Army School, Suratgarh Mil Station.The School was recognized up to Middle School by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) wef 01 Apr 1997 and later upgraded to class 10th w.e.f 01 Apr 1999. On 01 Apr 2015, it was upgraded to Senior Secondary level, with Science & Humanities. It is governed by Rules and Regulation, issued by Army Welfare Education Society (AWES). Suratgarh, which is emerging fast, as a major military station, will benefit from this school, as large number of wards of service personnel posted in this station will get quality education.
The school, which initially started as Desert Blossom School, today is a Senior Secondary School with classes up to XII standard. The school is having its own permanent magnificent building surrounded by greenery all around.
